Summer Pack Trips

   Our summer trips, in my opinion, are the best way in the world to get away. Leave the phone, TV, and traffic behind and come enjoy the wilderness the way it was.  We pack up and take the horses far from any roads or civilization. All of our trips offer first class hospitality and mountain cuisine.  The days are spent riding to high mountain vistas, trout fishing at its finest or just lounging around camp taking in the fresh air.  Some of our trips move from camp to camp to enjoy more country; others might start and end in the same camp.  There are literally thousands of trails to explore and streams to fish.  Whether you enjoy spending the days riding or fishing, we have the best of both.

   Terrain and difficulty of trails differs as does the quality and type of fishing.  I like to talk to the clients and learn their ages, riding experience, and physical condition to set up a trip for them.  Some groups want to ride every day while others just like the trout fishing, whatever your group would like we can come up with the perfect trip.

   I love sharing the mountains with families that otherwise never see nature the way it was.  Clients can expect to see breathtaking scenery, wildlife in their natural setting, and fall in love with a sure-footed mountain horse.  I hope to hear from you soon and discuss a summer pack trip, but most of all, someday share the medicine of the mountains.
