Sheep HuntsSheep hunting is my personal passion, and I specialize in areas 1, 2, 3, 4, & 5. I love to hunt all species, but I live to hunt sheep. I have lived in the Cody area my entire life. My father was a well-known sheep guide for years and I can truly say he raised me to hunt sheep. As long as I can remember, I was tagging along, scouting for rams and learning the country. Both sides of my family go back three generations in the Cody area. The hunting tradition and vast knowledge of the area have been passed down along the way. We do a lot of pre-season scouting and it usually pays off. We usually have a good feel for the best rams in the area and know what to expect. My hunters have killed some great rams over the years and average a 95%-100% success on rams in the 160 or better class. We have what I feel to be the best sheep camp in the state. I can hunt a large expanse of country from my permanent base camp but we usually spend a lot of time in temporary spike camps so we can be close to where the rams are. We offer the best with our hunts. We spend more time scouting than anyone I know. You can expect to be in a warm camp with a good cook and a good wrangler. That will enable you and your guide to do nothing but hunt the ram of your dreams. If you are ever fortunate enough to draw a Wyoming sheep tag, I don’t think you could make a better choice than Ramshorn Outfitters, Inc. I promise you that sheep hunting is our business and your success is our success. I hope to hear from you so we can head to the hills. 10 Day Wilderness* Bighorn Sheep Hunt . . . . . . . . . . . . . . $8,500 * Includes 2 days of travel time to and from camp.
