Wyoming Game & Fish Department

* The above fee includes a $10.00 non-refundable application fee payable to the Wyoming Game and Fish Department.  A cashier’s check or personal check for the exact amount of the licenses and application fees is acceptable.  One check is acceptable for group applications of up to 6 people for Deer, Antelope or Elk.  Preference points are awarded every year to all unsuccessful applicants of Moose and Bighorn sheep licenses.  Those with the highest number of preference points will be drawn first, along with a few that are drawn randomly. 

Please contact Ramshorn Outfitters before you apply if you need additional information about hunting areas or the license applications.  The areas we recommend depend on many factors, including the game populations, season changes, and also your hunting experience and physical condition.

 
Liability

Ramshorn Outfitters, Inc. guarantees to provide a hard, honest hunt.  Hunting, being what it is, prevents us from guaranteeing a kill.  We have no control over acts of nature, changes in season closure dates, your physical condition, or your shooting ability.  We make every effort to keep a clean, smooth, and safe operation.  There is always some degree of risk involved when horseback riding and hunting in the wilderness.  We require that all of our clients sign a contract/liability release form prior to any services being provided.  There is a printable version of this form below along with our safety policy.  You may print the form, sign it and return it to Ramshorn Outfitters.

Terms

All of our hunts/pack trips are booked on a first come-first serve basis.  A 50% deposit of the total price of the hunt or pack trip is required to book your dates.  The balance is due upon arrival, payable in cash or cashier’s check.  Deposits are refundable if you are unsuccessful in the license drawing.  If you are successful but cannot make the hunt, your deposit will be refunded when another hunter gets booked in your place.  Ramshorn Outfitters is an equal opportunity service provider operating under permit from the Shoshone National Forest.  We also hold permits with the Bureau of Land Management, Wyoming State Land Board, and the Wyoming Board of Outfitters and Professional Guides.  Our permit number is #BGO 206.
